Hi I just wanted to let you know that I played your game, and I really enjoyed.

I also made a let's play video, I hope that's okay.

Thanks for playing! I love watching different players' reactions and play styles

the control are weird, it doesn't seems quite... right? Could we get at least some instructions on how to play

Hi! What part of the game is causing you difficulty? I'd love to help you get to the bottom of it.

For the most part, the game just uses the directional keys or buttons, with a single key or button to handle most interactions.

However, during the dodging portions of the game the gameplay becomes timing based, and you must dodge by pressing the correct direction just as the thrown object is about to hit you. For the orange haired character you use left, and the blue haired character uses right.

I'm hard at work on the next Rainsdowne Players adventure!

If you'd like to help it along, please consider backing or sharing my Kickstarter. Thanks!

i love it, can you please make a sequel?

Thanks! Hopefully I can make more than a sequel! I want this to be the first chapter of a much bigger game.

The next installment will feature a full town to explore, a character driven story, and a greater variety of minigames, puzzles and quests.

Watch this space for announcements!

i'll be watching

Tried the game out and I really like the concept of changing the story around with the cards. Could lead to a lot of possibilities! I don't know how it's rhythm based though, but that could just be my lack of dodging skills. That's just my own personal nitpick, but I really liked the game! Can't wait to see more of this!

Played the game and had lots of fun! Can't wait for the full version! One thing though, the music is so frickin loud and theres no way to turn it down. Please add that mechanism in the full game!

Love the game! Can't wait to play some more!

Nice Graphics and Funny gameplay!! :) I love This Game.

Hi! Thanks for playing! Were you able to collect all 13 cards? :)

Hello! I wonder - how to contact you about this game by email? :)

Second take recording a video. One card missing but after 3+ hours of playing I think I managed okey. I'd like to see it expanded.

Thanks for playing! The latest update adds occasional visits from a hooded figure who gives out clues. Should hopefully mean a bit less guessing and dodging!

Keep checking in with the picky tomato guy to see whether you're meeting his comedy standards.

The build I played didn't have the hooded person so it took a little more 'experimenting'. The tomato guy I think can't be pleased, he's just there to throw his tomatoes. :)

Balancing puzzles between being too hard or too hand-holdy is a new challenge for me, so any thoughts on puzzle difficulty, or letting me know about any particular NPC whose puzzles you can't seem to solve would be so, so useful!

Messed around for a little under 30 minutes - here's my 2 cents:

Nice graphics! It looks great, and the animations are smooth. Controls were nice and responsive, and I had no issues trying to dodge stuff.

Gameplay was simple to pick up, and enjoyable, though a little repetitive. Maybe have stuff fly in from more than 2 directions? Animate the characters a little more, or a few costumes/props here and there?

A gauge showing the audience's happiness/enjoyment or total score would be nice. Something to aim for/beat!

Overall, I enjoyed it, but got a little bored after a while. Could do with a little polish here and there.

Thanks for playing! Costumes, props and all sorts of additional variety is definitely something I hope to add in a future expanded Rainsdowne game.
