it crashes on the first loading screen for me? It may be a new windows thing, but either way I know this game is gonna be worth it because I adore the first one so much
Hey. Thanks for reporting. Is there any sort of error message? First time hearing of such an issue.
Are you on windows 11? I haven't tested it there myself.
yeah windows 11, im thinking thats the issue
Hmm. Do you have the first game on that same computer? If so, does that still work?
I wonder if it's worth unzipping the files to a different location, or right clicking the game and 'running as admin', and seeing if that makes a difference?
Hey folks, be sure to update to the latest version if you're playing with reduced flashing effects turned on, as it was causing a crash during the late-game!
After the elevator crashes, the game stops progressing and she just sorta floats there with one of her magic ghosts.
Ah! Well spotted. Looks like the cutscene is getting stuck on that point if you have 'reduce shaking / flashing effects' turned on.
I'll get a fix done asap!
It should progress as intended if you turn on the flashing effects, but this is of course only if you are able. Beyond this point the most you'll encounter is a few single brief white flashes when the bad guys appear, and a small size flickering effect on the ghost that appears.
Dog bless, thanks for the timely update :D
Also good game, a bit on the grindy side if you wanna have all characters be an acceptable level but otherwise love the story :D
During the battle with the familiars, I got this error code

Apologies for that. This has been fixed in the most recent update, so you'll have to re-download the game. Your save data will still work.
Thanks Steve!
I am loving the sequel, just a bit confused on the dungeon story line and how to progress through it. Any direction would be appreciated.
Are you on the second dungeon? If you're struggling, there are additional abilities you can unlock by clearing the Mansion levels and the Arena minigame.
Apologies for any lack of clarity. I have some plans to add a bit more guidance into the game.
As far as I know, I am in the first dungeon? The one in the sewer that is powered by toasters.
Ah, in that case you just need to get past floor 10. If you're struggling at any point, purchasing the green tea donut from the shop will turn down the enemy strength in the dungeon.
I absolutely loved the first game, and I am so excited to finally play the second!
Edit 1: So far, I have only gotten to the part of the toaster dungeon. I am loving the combat more than I had thought! It is a bit different than the first game, but I especially love that you can swap up your team. Story wise, I am a little lost. I'm not exactly sure what I am supposed to do, but I will figure it out.
Edit 2: I finally had some time to play the game again, and I am loving it. I have started saving her friends, and just saved Gacha Kid. I love how many options you have for your team and how the combat is! I also adore Magical Science Angel trying to figure themselves out and fighting for the right to wear shorts instead of a skirt! This game is so addicting and super fun to play!
Heya, missed the edit. Did you get past the toaster dungeon in the end? It's only 10 floors deep, and you can use the helper donuts fromt eh shop if you're struggling.
Pretty fun so far! Combat is a bit to learn, and got really unlucky after my first mission and could only find missions a little out of my difficulty range, but the game finally decided to bless me with more appropriate level missions after a couple fails. I'm excited to see where the story goes! Hope you enjoy my video!
Hey! Thanks for playing! Hopefully the adaptive difficulty isn't too broken... That's what the donut shop is for I guess...
Hey! I managed to get through the dungeon till 101 and am not sure what to do after that. Is there more past 101? There was no shortcut for it once I reached it. I hope you can help me!
Hey, it will kick you out after floor 100 until you've rescued all 5 prisoners (which are random). Looks like you got through quicker than I expected, so I might change things up in an update to be clearer.
Probably just need to start from floor 71 one last time and you should progress.
After getting used to the shop, I have started to utilise it more often. I did not buy the donut that makes the game easier as I wanted to play at it's normal difficulty. I have managed to overcome the toaster dungeon due to insane luck and RNG. When battles get tough, I have started trying to balance upgrading my characters and buying move and turn donuts to give me more chances to attack. There is a weird visual bug at the last fight with the monkeys where the turn shows -2. Other than that, I am loving it more than my initial 30 minutes
This game is pretty fun. I have never played the first game but this game instantly hooked me in. The combat is pretty interesting. However, I did not manage to utilise the toggle character button as I forgot how to use it. One thing I need clarification is that to progress through the story, I need to go down the floors of the dungeon? I am a little stuck over here. It is a fun game from what I have played and would like to get back to it.
Hey, thanks for playing!
Toggling characters is c/v on keyboard, or the l/r shoulder buttons on controller.
If you're struggling with the dungeon traversal, you can lower the dynamic difficulty by buying green tea donuts in the shop.
SCREAMING I’m so very excited to check this out. And all their friends getting to transform too!
Question - will there also be a switch port for 2?
Thanks~ I'll be working on a Switch port next, just pacing myself this time around as I haven't had as much free time to do it all at once.
